Proven MBR Membrane Technology

Reliable hollow fiber membrane technology designed for stable operation in municipal and industrial MBR systems.

While membrane structure varies by product design, all SPERTA modules are built on the same proven hollow fiber membrane technology.

SPERTA MBR membranes are designed for submerged applications in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

Each module utilizes reinforced PVDF hollow fibers with PET inner support, providing high mechanical strength and stable operation under elevated MLSS conditions.

Operating in an outside-in filtration mode, the membranes deliver high-quality permeate with TSS below 1 mg/L.

A hydrophilic, non-ionic membrane surface reduces fouling and helps maintain stable flux, minimizing chemical cleaning frequency and operating costs.

Inside the SPERTA UniSeal™ Membrane

UniSeal endcap connector
Endcap Design

UniSeal™ Endcap —
Tool-Free Installation

The proprietary UniSeal™ endcap connects directly via a union fitting — no tools, no adhesives. One side sealed, one side connected. The result is a faster installation process and a simpler cassette structure compared to conventional MBR designs.

Reinforced PVDF fiber
Fiber Structure

Reinforced PVDF Fiber,
Built for Longevity

Each hollow fiber is produced via the Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) process with a PET inner support. This gives the fiber a tensile strength up to 600 N, peeling strength ≥1.0 MPa, and porosity ≥60% — engineered for high-load, long-cycle operation.

Manufacturing facility
Manufacturing

Manufactured In-House,
Quality Controlled End-to-End

SPERTA operates dedicated MBR membrane production lines in China. Every element goes through a rigorous quality audit process before leaving the facility — ensuring consistency across every order, from sample quantities to full project supply.

Adjustable height configuration
Customization

Adjustable Height for
Any Tank Configuration

Standard models range from 1,000 mm to 2,000 mm in height. Custom dimensions are available on request — making the UniSeal™ the go-to choice for retrofit projects and installations where standard-size membranes simply will not fit.

Hydrophilic surface
Hydrophilic Surface

Non-Ionic Surface for
Stable Long-Term Flux

The hydrophilic, non-ionic PVDF surface resists organic fouling naturally — reducing the frequency and intensity of chemical cleaning cycles. This translates directly into lower maintenance costs and more predictable system performance over time.

System Cost

Simple Cassette Structure,
Lower Total Project Cost

The UniSeal™ single-connector design requires fewer supporting components than MBR alternatives. This reduces both the bill of materials for the cassette and the on-site labour required for assembly — lowering total installed cost without compromising performance.
